Welcome to our consultation website for Metis Homes and McCarthy Stone’s proposals for Land at the Warsash Maritime Academy.

Warsash Maritime Academy currently is owned and run by Southampton Solent University (SSU) and made up of upper and lower campuses. SSU is making the upper campus available for redevelopment as part of their Maritime Strategy 2020. Metis Homes and McCarthy Stone are now working in partnership to bring forward the holistic redevelopment of part of the campus to deliver new homes for a broad range of people, including first-time buyers, families and older people.

Public Consultation

Metis Homes and McCarthy Stone are keen to work closely with local stakeholders to ensure the development is well integrated and minimises any adverse impact on the local area.

We invited members of the community and interested stakeholders to view and comment on our draft proposals via a virtual public consultation, the aim of which is to gather feedback which, where possible, will be fed into the plans before a planning application is submitted to Fareham Borough Council.

This virtual consultation closed at midnight on 5th December 2021 and we are no longer taking feedback.
